Le cœur de la foire : les artisans et exposants de l’Exposition agricole d’Ayer’s Cliff
The Heart of the Fair: Celebrating Artisans, Exhibitors, and Knowledge at the Ayer’s Cliff Fair
From August 21 to 24, 2025, the Ayer’s Cliff Fair becomes a gathering place for craftspeople, producers, animal breeders, and young agricultural leaders. More than just a festive event, it is a true celebration of rural knowledge, tradition, and the sharing of skills—a place where generations meet and learn from each other.
The Ladies’ Department: Creativity and Heritage on Display
A highlight of the fair, the Ladies’ Department showcases a stunning variety of homemade preserves, baked goods, knitting, quilting, embroidery, sewing, and traditional crafts—many passed down through families and perfected over decades.
Each item tells a story, and visitors will find inspiration and admiration in every carefully presented piece. It’s a beautiful window into the local heritage of food and craft.
Horticulture and Homegrown Passion
From giant sunflowers to unusual squashes, the horticulture section is a feast for the eyes and a reflection of deep passion. Gardeners and growers proudly exhibit the fruits (and vegetables) of their labor, eager to share tips, seeds, and stories with visitors.
This area is especially fun for kids, who can learn firsthand about the value of growing your own food.
Animal Judging and 4H: Showcasing the Next Generation
Dairy cows, sheep, horses —the animal judging competitions are a major draw. Farmers and breeders present their finest animals with pride, and engage with visitors to educate, inform, and celebrate agricultural excellence.
The 4H Club is an essential part of the fair. These dedicated young people represent the future of farming, participating in competitions, demos, and displays that highlight their knowledge, leadership, and love for the land.
A Living Fair, Full of Learning and Discovery
Whether you’re a fan of traditional crafts, curious, or simply looking to discover the richness of agricultural life, the Ayer’s Cliff Fair is the place to be.
Join us from August 21 to 24, and meet the people who keep our traditions alive.
