Stanstead Agricultural Society Scholarship Program

The Stanstead Agricultural Society Scholarship Program aims to encourage and support young adults in developing the skills necessary to succeed and excel in the agricultural industry.

Each year, the Board will award a minimum of one (1) scholarship of up to $500.00 .

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of the Province of Quebec
  • Reside in the MRC Memphrémagog or Coaticook regions
  • Be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution
  • Be pursuing continued education in one of the following sectors:
    – Agriculture
    – Welding
    – Mechanics
    – Accounting
  • Be entering their second year of agricultural studies

The scholarship is open to all eligible students.

Application Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Complete the ACF Scholarship Application Form in full
  • Submit one (1) character reference from a teacher or employer
  • Submit a completed letter of intent
Registration

Additional Conditions

The selected recipient must attend the public opening of the Fair on Friday evening, where they will receive two (2) complimentary weekend entry passes.

The recipient must agree to be photographed, with the understanding that photos may be used for promotional purposes.
