ACF SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Stanstead County Agricultural Society, in collaboration with The Stanstead County Plowmen’s Association, has started a Scholarship Program, with the goal of encouraging and attracting young adults, to develop the necessary skills to continue and exceed in the agriculture industry.

Each year, the Board of Directors will choose a minimum of one (1) student, who will receive a scholarship of up to $500.00.

The scholarship is available to students entering their second year of agricultural studies.

In order to qualify as an eligible candidate, you must follow the procedures and criteria below:

-Be a citizen of the province of Québec,
-Be from the MRC Memphrémagog or Coaticook regions,
-The scholarship applies to all students,
-Continued education in the following sectors; Agriculture, Welding, Mechanics, Accounting,
-Must be registered full-time in a post-secondary school,
-Fill out the ACF Scholarship Application form to its fullest,
-1 (one) character reference from a teacher or an employer is required.

Upon being chosen, the candidate must agree to be present at the official opening on the Friday night of the fair, where he/she will receive 2 (two) free 1 day passes.

The winner must agree to be photographed knowing the photos will be published for any promotional purpose.

All applications must be received by a strict deadline of April 30th and will be considered for the upcoming fair and sent to the following address:
